The HoneyBees are a family-friendly a cappella trio that performs all year.  You can participate in the group just at Christmastime.

​

There are several group members, but we only perform in trios, so we rotate through gigs based on availability.  

​

Rehearsals are scheduled as needed.  There is no set rehearsal day.  There are some full-group rehearsals, but mostly smaller rehearsals at singer's homes in different areas around Vancouver and Portland, or Seattle.  

​

We provide you with sheet music and practice tracks for every song.  Singers must be committed to learning as much music at home as possible before rehearsals.  Some gigs allow for a notebook with sheet music, others will be from lyrics only on a provided iPad.  

​

Gigs are paid at different rates, typically $40-$80 per performance hour.  Rehearsal time is not paid.

​

Singers must provide their own costume and makeup.

How to Audition

​

Using the sheet music and practice tracks below, learn the part or parts you want to audition for.  Once you learn the part, please make a video of yourself singing your part while the track with the other two parts is playing in the background.  For example, if you are auditioning for alto, use the tracks to learn the alto part.  Then video yourself singing the alto part along with the track that has soprano 1 and soprano 2 only.  Let us know if you need help or have questions.
