Water, Water Everywhere (Health #3)

That's how I felt a few weeks ago when I first decided to start drinking a gallon of water a day.  About half way through the first day, I didn't think I would make it.  Let me tell you, that's a lot of water.  But I forced it down... literally.  

 

The first three days were definitely the hardest.  Lots of bathroom trips, breakouts, a bloated and water-logged feeling.  Sounds like fun, right?  But after a while I got used to it, and I am continuing to drink between 3-4 quarts a day.  I definitely have felt my body "normalizing", working more the way it's designed.  Now it's become much easier to do, and I notice that I reach for my water bottle instead of food a lot more.  I crave water, in a different way than just feeling thirsty.  My body is used to getting enough, and it tells me to keep it up!
